Public sculpture commission for NHS Lothian at East Lothian Community Hospital. Part of a series of sculptures that function as physical rehabilitation aides.
This part of the overall commission at ELCH was to cater for patients at a more advanced stage of physical rehab, focusing on balance and jumping. The beams were set at varying heights and angles of inclination to provide a range of challenges and goals. The concrete blocks were of the same proportions as the plyometric boxes used in the gym inside the hospital.
